Harry Potter

It was only supposed to be a daily night practice but I got too motivated and drew more characters.

Here's a close up version of the drawings.

If you noticed, some of them look younger compared to the rest. That's because the reference photo I had of them was of earlier movies. :)

Nestling

Digital illustration based from a colored photo. I really like how this turned out because you can really see the brush stokes and not like last time that it looked very smudged.

Yesterday I tried to go back to digital painting and did a bit of practice. I was supposed to do a colored one but it was a bit too hard for me. So I stuck with a black and white version then work my way up to colored ones. It took a bit longer than the usual 1-2 hours of work.

Here are the process photos:

So I started with grey background and did a bit of the face.

I usually start with the nose and eyes then end with the mouth area.

I think I should have at least stopped at this part of the drawing. I mean it looks more manly than the final outcome. Plus I like how you can see the brush stokes.

This is the final outcome. I absolutely enjoyed doing the hair and I like how it turned out. But not so very happy with the face because it looks too smooth. I pretty much wanted it to have some brush stoke effects but I was getting too OC. Note to self: be messy. :(

I had Friday classes during my third term in CSB. It was dance and my teacher was usually late. I also got there around 2 hours early for the class itself. During that time I'd draw and this is what I finished. Sadly, I don't know who owns the reference photo of this.

Third illustration request! She wanted a simple casual outfit. Gave her leg warmers to add to the look. I wanted to work to have that 'cool' air around it.

My very first illustration request! She wanted to look like she was in a tea party so I matched her with a pastel blue outfit. Added lace and a teacup to complete the look.

This is my second illustration request. She requested for a floral crown and a white flowy dress. Instead of using white I made it pink so I could add lace patterns to it. Doesn't she look like such a lovely flower girl?
